About Me
I'm Dani, the Colombian Colocha roaming through the Western Highlands of Guatemala living her dream as a Peace Corps Youth in Development volunteer. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Bilingual Childhood Education and Psychology and after teaching a few years in the Department of Education in Brooklyn, New York, decided it was time to be of service in a new way.
I began an adventure with Peace Corps on September 2023 with the motivation and drive to use my language skills and educational background to support the development of communities and youth in Latin America. In a way, bringing it back home.
I created this blog to serve as a window into the Peace Corps experience but also as a door into my new home (for now), Guatemala.
